And that’s exactly what ours was: a place where you can sing however you like – no audience, no strangers watching and no “I can’t sing”.

Good to know
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Boxes can only be booked online. We take phone and email reservations for company events only.
What is the minimum booking?
1.5 hours. You can extend on the spot, provided the box is still free afterwards.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No. Outside food and drinks are not permitted anywhere in the venue. The one exception is a birthday cake. Please arrange it with staff beforehand.
Can I pay cash?
No, we are fully cashless. Card and TWINT are accepted.
Are children welcome?
Very much so. Children under 6 sing for free. On Saturday and Sunday we open at 2 pm, which is the calmest time for families.
What if we are more people than stated?
The maximum number of people per box is binding. If you want to bring more, please check with staff first. Otherwise we’ll have to stop serving your box.
Can I smoke or vape inside?
No. Smoking, cigars and vapes are prohibited throughout the building.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately animals are not allowed in the venue.
Is there video surveillance?
Yes. The bar and all karaoke boxes are monitored for security and insurance reasons. By entering the building you consent to this.
How do I order from the box?
Scan the QR code in your room and order drinks and snacks right from your phone. You can pay by credit card or TWINT. We then bring everything to your box. Please order sushi directly at the bar so we can go over any allergies or intolerances with you.

1. Scope
1.1 These house rules apply to the entire operation of YUME-Karaoke Box AG. They provide the basis for orderly operation and are intended to ensure that all guests can enjoy their stay without worry.
2. Right of use
2.1 Use of the entire YUME-Karaoke Box facility is permitted to everyone during opening hours.
3. General conditions of use
3.1 Within the scope of these house rules, all actions liable to disturb safety and order are prohibited, in particular:
- Smoking (cigarettes, cigars, vapes) anywhere in the building.
- Bringing animals.
- Blocking rescue and escape routes or fire brigade access, introducing fire loads into rescue and escape routes, and blocking fire doors.
- Carrying weapons of any kind as well as flammable or explosive substances.
- Lighting open fires and burning candles, with the exception of birthday cakes, and then only in agreement with staff and under their supervision.
- Unauthorised spraying, painting, writing on, soiling or damaging surfaces, ceilings, walls and fittings.
- Putting up posters and distributing flyers or information without prior approval from staff.
- Discriminatory statements of any kind.
- Violent behaviour.
- Any sexual acts.
4. Conditions of use for all karaoke rooms / boxes / bar
4.1 Bringing any drinks or food (except birthday cake) is strictly prohibited throughout the venue.
4.2 Guests are required to treat the furnishings and all equipment with care.
4.3 Any additional person exceeding the maximum occupancy of a karaoke box must be agreed with staff in advance. Otherwise staff may immediately stop the entire service (karaoke system and service) for that room.
4.4 Disturbing other guests in karaoke rooms is strictly prohibited.
4.5 Guests are required to leave the karaoke rooms / boxes at the end of their booking without being asked (unless the booking has been extended) and to settle any outstanding consumption costs at the till / bar at the front.
4.6 The area in front of the building as well as the stairwell and lift must be used with due consideration and at an appropriate noise level towards the tenants.
5. Safety and order
5.1 Gatherings, events, the offering and sale of goods of any kind, as well as photography and filming, may only be carried out with the owners’ consent.
5.2 The relevant statutory provisions must be observed for building safety, in particular the fire protection regulations and the assembly venue regulations.
6. Liability
6.1 Costs incurred by a guest through a breach of these house rules (e.g. repairs, police or fire brigade callouts) are to be borne by the person who caused them by breaching the house rules.
6.2 YUME-Karaoke Box AG accepts no liability for lost items (cloakroom, valuables). Theft should be reported to the police immediately by the person affected and notified to YUME-Karaoke Box AG.
6.3 YUME-Karaoke Box AG is not liable for notices removed in the course of building cleaning.
7. Video surveillance
7.1 YUME-Karaoke Box AG operates video surveillance in the bar and in all karaoke boxes for security and insurance reasons. By entering the building you automatically consent to this surveillance.
8. Extraordinary closure
8.1 Staff reserve the right to close the venue up to 1.5 hours before the regular closing time if no booking is scheduled for the rest of the evening and/or there are no more guests in the bar area being served.
